April 2011

On April 1, 2011 shipping of tared cement from new warehouse of “Astragal” located at: Rostov-on-Don, 71, Vsesoyuznaya st., began. Warehouse was opened specifically for the convenience of our customers, who buy cement in it’s original package. Warehouse is equipped with everything necessary for operational services. Enjoy auto-loading system, placing the goods on pallets, ability to arrange delivery of cement. Warehouse is easily accessible for transport, because it is located near a major road-artery linking the Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Bataisk, the Krasnodar Territory.

Sharing the joyful news of this year: a group of companies “Astragal” significantly increased it’s sales. As we reported earlier, last year we opened office in Sochi and Krasnodar. Opened the new office, we immediately provide the most convenient ways to deliver products – like the railways and other transport modes. Group of companies “Astragal” has expanded our sales department. This step is caused of increasing the sales in 2010 and, therefore, an acute need to supplement a staff of skilled professionals. The main installation in this regard are: whenever the amount of work will grow higher, the level of services provided by this should not become lower. Recently we opened several new offices of our company in different cities. Of course, work of sales department was increased in new and previous structures, execution of it at the proper level became impossible. Now we are happy to inform all those who work with us, that the expansion of the state not only makes our partnership the same beneficial and comfortable as before, but can significantly improve and simplify some of its moments.

July 2009

The group of companies Astragal opened a representative office in Sochi. The Sochi representative office was set up in order to provide uninterrupted and qualified supplies of cement for the company’s customers located and engaged in construction in Sochi and the nearest inhabited localities, including the construction of Olympic venues. Regular supplies of cement of local producers have been arranged by rail and by motor transport to the Sochi region. Furthermore, the Company is at the moment in talks with the authorities about the organization of regular supplies of bulk and big bag cement of Turkish producers by sea transport to the ports of Sochi and Adler.

The group of companies Astragal opened a representative office in Krasnodar. The Krasnodar representative office was set up to provide uninterrupted and qualified supplies of cement for the company’s customers located in Krasnodar and the nearest inhabited localities of Krasnodar Region.

Supplies of bulk cement by Water transport.

In April 2008, the Astragal Group will be the first in Russian Federation to start to make regular supplies of bulk cement of the leading Turkish manufacturers by Water transport. The supplies of bulk cement will become one more advance towards successful development of the company and will forward further recognition on the parts of reliable international business partners.

Our company has purchased a specialized shipunloader enabling to discharge dry bulk cargo. The technical characteristics of the shipunloader make it possible to handle vessels in different ports.
